  • We recently hosted our Christmas party at Marina Cafe and Bar, and it was an unforgettable experience! The marquee we had was beautifully arranged, offering a cozy, private space for our team. The grazing platters with a selection of delicious cheeses and meats were a big hit, and the unexpected bon bons at each seat added such a lovely, festive touch. Lunch was a highlight—three massive pallas cooked live by the chefs, paired with fresh, vibrant salads. The live music added to the fantastic atmosphere, making it feel like a truly special event. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the day. I highly recommend Marina Cafe and Bar for any team lunch or event, and we look forward to returning again soon. Thank you for looking after us and making our celebration so memorable!

  • Service was excellent and food was unreal. Chicken sandwich and spicy pizza were stand outs. Thoroughly recommend a day trip over for the walking and sites with a breakfast or lunch visit....amazing.

  • Loved it. We had Fish and Chips, Burger and Pizza. All was good and came in large quantities. The staff was very nice. Keep in mind that it is not allowed to feed the seagulls. So I fed the fish but that is also not allowed, although there is no sign that says not to.

  • A lovely spot on Cockatoo Island. The food choices of a weekday are limited. Understandably, I'm assuming this is due to the place not being so busy on an early weekday. So half the menu was out. However, the chicken toastie on sourdough was amazing. Very moresish and satisfying. The bacon and egg roll was good, but rather airy due to the type of bun used. The Sydney harbour view is beautiful and the lack of crowd on a weekday made it that more tranquil. This is a fantastic location for a big group. The place is well set out and definitely has great outdoor ambience.

  • Only 2 cafe/restaurant on the island, one close to the ferry terminal and this is the other one. We had late lunch there, and we ordered fish & chips as some items in the menu were sold out. Good fish and chips, with coleslaw. Good portion and we finished everything. Fish and chips are nice, but the coleslaw is a bit dry and good to have more sauce. Outdoor seating, and some tables under a cabana. Good for a small group party or celebration, but it also could be a problem on a windy day. Overall, not bad and will try other menus next time.
